CHANDIGARH: The Haryana government on Thursday extended the tenure of state DGP Manoj Yadava till further orders.
Yadava, a 1988 batch IPS officer, was appointed as director-general of Police (DGP) on February 21, 2019.

Sources informed that government was in no hurry for his replacement, hence kept the decision of sending the panel of officers pending.
Notably, Yadav was youngest of three officers whose names had been sent in the panel of IPS officers sent to UPSC by Haryana government in 2019.
