DGP asks ultras to shun violence or be ready to face bullets

Chatra, Jan 7 (UNI) DGP MV Rao on Thursday issued another warning to the Maoists and other splinter groups active in the state and asked them to leave the road of violence or get ready to face the bullets.
The DGP chaired a high-level meeting at the office of SDPO Tandwa during which strategies were chalked out to destroy the growing influence of the ultras belonging to the TSPC in the coal mining areas.
The DGP said that all the properties which have been accumulated by the TSPC ultras will be attached and all the people who are supporting their network and their middlemen will be sent behind the bars.
Mr Rao said that while on one hand the name of the people involved in criminal activities will be made public while on the other hand people who will be providing any information regarding the criminals their identity will be kept secret and the money as the award will be handed out secretly.
DIG MV Homkar and Chatra SP Rishabh Jha were also present on the occasion.
