IND vs AUS 3rd Test LIVE: Can Warner turn Australia's fortunes at SCG?

India would look to continue its impressive show in the four-match series, when Ajinkya Rahane will lead his troops for the third Test match against Australia today at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). The Indian cricket team has been under the cosh over the past one week with five of its players being investigated for alleged breach of bio-security protocols during a dine-out in Melbourne.

While the team management has restricted the movement of the players to the hotel-ground-hotel routine, it has also decided to field four of the five players in the playing 11 for the Sydney Test in a sign of backing its players. Rohit Sharma is one of the five players investigated for alleged breach of bio-security protocols. Among others out of those five in the India playing 11 are Navdeep, Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill.

India has announced its playing 11 on the eve of the third Test match and made two changes. Australia, on the other, has confirmed that David Warner will return to Australia playing 11 but did not reveal the final line-up.

The IND vs AUS 3rd Test will be telecast live on Sony Sports Network’s three channels. Sony TEN 1 HD/SD and Sony SIX HD/HD will live broadcast the matches with English commentary, while Sony TEN 3 HD/SD will do so with Hindi commentary. The India vs Australia Test series is also a part of ICC World Test Championship (WTC), the final of which will be played in June 2021 at the Lord’s cricket ground in London.
