Apple launches special AirPods Pro for China

Apple has introduced a special edition AirPods Pro for China and nearby countries like Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore. While specification-wise, the AirPods Pro are exactly the same, Apple is offering a new logo design to mark the start of Lunar New Year. As per Chinese tradition, February 12 is a special day as the year of the Rat ends and the era of Ox begins.
In order to make this memorable, the company is offering a ox-themed makeover of the Apple logo and a new cow emoji option as a free engraving. Apple is keeping the price same and is not charging extra for this special edition. However, Apple will only allow each buyer to order only two special edition AirPods Pro from its website.
Apple had launched the AirPods Pro in October 2019. It is compatible with iPhone 8 and later smartphones, iPod Touch (7th generation) and some iPad tablets. The list includes 12.9-inch iPad Pro (2nd generation or later), 11-inch iPad Pro, 10.5-inch iPad Pro, iPad (5th generation or later), iPad Air (3rd generation) and iPad mini (5th generation).
AirPods come with an in-ear design and carry forward the extended microphone stem form-factor. There’s Active Noise Cancellation and a special ‘Transparency mode’ with an outward-facing microphone to let users hear the noise coming from outside when required.
Apple AirPods Pro comes with three silicone tip sizes - Large, Medium and Small. Apple’s ‘anti-noise’ feature removes the unwanted noise from inside the ear. Also, Active Noise Cancellation is claimed to be adjusted 200 times per second for better audio output.
