Jindal Group companies Maharashtra Seamless Limited and Jindal Drilling & Industries Limited informed the exchanges Tuesday that a fire accident occurred in their corporate office at Gurugram on January 5.
“There has been no loss of life,” Jindal Drilling said in a regulatory filing.
“The company is taking necessary steps to ensure the resumption of normal working at the corporate office,” Maharashtra Seamless said in other filing.
At around 10.45 am, Jindal Drilling & Industries Ltd stock was trading at Rs91 per piece up by Rs3.05 or 3.47% on the BSE.
Maharashtra Seamless Ltd was trading at Rs326 per piece up by Rs6 or 1.88% from its previous closing of Rs320 on the BSE.
