Couple wars

The recent weekend episode of Indian idol, knowns as the Shaadi Special episode, was full of masti and fun, especially with the special guests – Rohanpreet Singh, Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa – bringing the house down. There were even a few competitions between the couples to decide who would be the ‘IT’ Couple of the Year, with Neha Kakkar (also one of the judges of Indian Idol 2020) and Rohanpreet Singh taking on Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa in a series of challenges.

Three games were played to find out who’d be the ‘IT’ couple, with the first entailed host Aditya Narayan quizzing one partner, with said partner writing the answers discreetly down on a sheet of paper while the other had to correctly guess those answers.

Blindfolded saree draping

The second task involved the wives being blindfolded while trying to drape a saree around their husbands, with timely instructions from the men.

The third challenge required the husband to bend over on their knees while their wives made and arranged pani puri on their back, following which the men needed to crawl to the other judges on their knees to serve the pani puris with minimum wastage as possible.

Needless to say, Neha Kakkar, Rohanpreet Singh, Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa provided wholesome, family entertainment galore on this special episode of Indian Idol to all those present as also the audience sitting back home.
