Mumbai: In a first, Western Railway runs all-women crew run goods train from Vasai Road to Vadodara

Breaking stereotypes, the Western Railway (WR) for the first time ran a goods train piloted by an all-women crew from Vasai Road to Vadodara on Tuesday.

“It was a memorable day for Western Railway. I applaud the determination and willpower of our women staff,” said Alok Kansal, general manager, WR.
