Schools will now be able to open in Rajasthan from January 18, amid the diminishing effects of the coronavirus. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given instructions in this regard. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot directed to open classes from 9 to 12 in schools, last year classes of university and college, coaching centers and government training institutes from 18 January.
CM Gehlot on Tuesday also instructed to open medical colleges, dental colleges, nursing colleges, and paramedical colleges from January 11 due to the process of vaccination while reviewing COVID-19 from the video conference at the Chief Minister's residence.
During this, he informed that in all these educational institutions, 50 percent of the total capacity of each class will be present on the first day and the remaining 50 percent will be present on the second day.
Teachers will be given necessary training by the Health Department for the prevention of infection. The Chief Minister said that all the health protocols including social distancing and masks should be taken care of in all institutions and they should be governed under the guidelines and SOPs of the Center.
