Panaji: The state on Wednesday registered 92 new COVID-19 cases, and no new deaths linked to the virus, taking the total number of active cases to 870. The confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Goa currently stand at 51,507 of which 49,893 patients have defeated the deadly virus. Till date, 744 patients have succumbed to the virus in the state.
Around 82 patients recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours.
According to the DHS, active positive cases in the jurisdiction of urban health centres stand as follows: Margao – 96 cases, Vasco – 46 cases, Panaji – 62 cases and Mapusa – 24 cases.
While, active positive cases in the jurisdiction of community health centres are as follows: Sankhali – 24 cases, Bicholim – 12 cases, Pernem – 15 cases, Valpoi – 7 cases, Curchorem – 18 cases and Canacona – 29 cases.
And, active positive cases in the jurisdiction of primary health centres stand as follows: Aldona – 11 cases, Betki – 21 cases, Candolim – 37 cases, Cansarvanem – 1 case, Colvale – 9 cases, Corlim – 24 cases, Chimbel – 43 cases, Siolim – 23 cases, Porvorim – 50 cases, Mayem – 1 case, Balli – 6 cases, Cansaulim – 29 cases, Chinchinim – 18 cases, Cortalim – 40 cases, Curtorim – 25 cases, Loutolim – 23 cases, Marcaim – 17 cases, Quepem – 19 cases, Sanguem – 18 cases, Shiroda – 19 cases, Dharbandora – 11 cases, Ponda – 52 cases and Navelim – 36 cases.
