BEML has bagged a new order worth Rs758cr from the Ministry of Defence for the supply of High Mobility vehicles.
BEML said that these High Mobility vehicles would play a key role in the logistics management of the Indian Army leveraging on its exceptional cross country capabilities.
Also, these vehicles would enable armoured fighting vehicles, troops, ammunition and stores to be moved to far-flung, difficult terrains in operational areas.
BEML will manufacture the equipment from its Palakkad Plant in Kerala and would supply the vehicles to Indian Army in one year.
On Sensex, BEML finished at Rs991.85 per piece flat compared to the previous closing.
