LIVE market live updates: The Indian markets were trading flat with a positive bias in Wednesday's early deals, tracking mixed global cues.
The S&P BSE Sensex was trading 55 points higher at 48,490 levels and the Nifty50 index was holding above 14,200 levels. ONGC (up 4%) was the top Sensex gainer, followed by Titan which rose 3 per cent after giving business update for the December quarter of FY21. ICICI Bank, Larsen & Toubro, and Bharti Airtel (all up 1%) were the other top gainers.
Majority of the Nifty sectoral indices were trading with gains, led by Nifty Metal index, up 1 per cent.
