Actress Deepika Padukone celebrated her 35th birthday on January 5. Her husband-actor Ranveer Singh made sure to make her birthday memorable. The couple hosted a grand birthday party at a popular restuarant in the suburbs of Mumbai. The bash was graced by Ranveer and Deepika's close friends including Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Ananya Pandey, Karan Johar and Anjini Dhawan.
The birthday girl graced her birthday party dressed in a casual-but-stylish black sweatshirt and pants. She completed her attire with a pair of black high heels and tied her hair in a bun. Ranveer twinned with his wifey donning a white shirt, black sweater and denims. Take a look:
Alia Bhatt looked chic in her black crop top and pants as she made her way to the party. She wore a matching mask that went perfect with her OOTD.
Alia's boyfriend-actor Ranbir Kapoor was also snapped at the party. Ranbir opted for a formal look, donning a white shirt and black pants. Ranbir and Alia have recently returned to Mumbai after celebrating New Year together. They were joined by Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor, sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahani and close family members.
Ananya Pandey also posed for the photographers along with director-producer Karan Johar. Deepika and Ananya will be seen together for the first time in Shakun Batra's untitled drama.
Varun Dhawan's niece Anjini Dhawan sizzled in a white crop top and olive green pants. She completed her look with a white handbag.
Ranveer gave us some inside glimpse of the birthday bash on his social media account. The actor shared a sweet picture of himself kissing his wifey on Instagram. In the picture, the couple can be seen on the dinner table. "Biwi No.1 @deepikapadukone #happybirthday (sic)," he captioned the picture.

Deepika made her Bollywood debut in 2007 opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om and since then has given us several blockbusters. Singh and Padukone tied the knot on November 14, 2018, in Italy. Deepika's close friends wished the birthday girl on their social media accounts. From Alia Bhatt to Siddhant Chaturvedi and Katrina Kaif, many of them posted sweet messages for the Piku actress on their Instagram stories.
Deepika herself posted a video on her Instagram handle showcasing some of her treasured pictures. "The journey has been nothing short of incredible...& for that I've got my family, friends and all of you to thank! (sic)", she captioned the video.

The Om Shanti Om actress had shocked fans and followers when she deleted all posts from her social media platforms. The actress deleted all her tweets and Instagram pictures on December 31. Initially, netizens wondered if Deepika's social media platforms had been hacked. However, it subsequently came to notice that it was the actress who changed her display images.
Deepika Padukone now has as many as six films lined-up for her fans. The first one is Pathan, starring Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham too. This will be followed by '83 with Ranveer Singh, Shakun Batra's next with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday, a reported film on Mahabharata where she'll essay the role of Draupadi, a saga with Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas. The remake of The Intern that was announced with Rishi Kapoor is also likely to be revived with another actor, however, no confirmation has been made about the same.
