AR organises COVID-19 awareness campaign

Tamenglong, January 04 2021:
Khoupum Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters 21 Sector Assam Rifles and Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organised a COVID-19 awareness campaign at Nungba town in Tamenglong district.
During the programme, a lecture was also delivered on the safety and precautionary measures to be taken during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Later, face masks were distributed and medical aid was provided to 80 locals of Nungba town.
The local villagers expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the Assam Rifles for their support and assistance during the pandemic.
