Child injured in fire at home day care


A toddler suffered burn accidents in Oxford Monday in a fire at a home day care, based on Oxford fire officers. Oxford Fire Chief Laurent McDonald informed WCVB that the boy, who was estimated to be about 2 years outdated, is a consumer of the Watch Street day care. McDonald stated when fire crews arrived, they discovered gentle smoke in the home, and the kid was in entrance of a playpen on the ground in a bed room. “There was still some smoldering in the bedroom. One of the occupants had taken a bucket of water and thrown it on the fire which helped knock it down, and then our crews on scene were able to extinguish it rather quickly,” McDonald stated.There had been two adults and three children in the home at the time of the incident.The Worcester County District Attorney’s workplace, state police and the state Fire Marshal are concerned in the investigation. No different particulars in regards to the incident had been instantly launched.
