Assam Rifles organises interaction programme

Bishnupur, January 04 2021: An interaction meet with ex-servicemen and veer naris of Bishnupur and Churachandpur districts was held today at Mangol Nganbi College, Ningthoukhong.

The programme was organised by 31 Assam Rifles Kangvai Bn in association with Ningthoukhong COB.

Maj Arman Arun of Ningthoukhong COB, Ex-Servicemen Association Bishnupur District president, retd Suvedar RK Surjitkumar, secretary, retd Naik Y Ibotombi Singh and Veer Nari Chabungbam (O) Yaimabi attended the programme as presidium members.

Altogether 51 ex-servicemen and 4 Veer Nari took part in the programme.

At the event, Major Arman Arun urged the ex-servicemen to take advantage of the welfare and rehabilitation schemes launched for them.

He further urged the ex-servicemen < to visit the nearby AR units to gain insight of the various schemes.

Subedar NK Karmayal spoke in detail about the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme and other policies/schemes.
