After all the delay and the speculations, FAU-G (Fearless and United Guards) is finally set to be launched in the Indian gaming market on January 26, on the occasion of India’s Republic Day. FAU-G was expected to be released around the New Year period but its delay once again created some panic for gamers. However, with the official announcement of the launch date on January 26, the gaming community in India will be relieved. With PUBG Mobile India dependent on what is the stance of the Government of India for their reported launch in March 2021, the stage is set for FAU-G to ensure that the game captures the Indian market in grand style. Here are some of the details one needs to know about FAU-G before you start playing.
What will be the mode and location of FAU-G?
From the trailer of FAU-G, it is clear that the location is based in Ladakh. It is based on the Galwan Valley incident that saw a tense face-off between India and China earlier in 2020. FAU-G will be based on real-life episodes and incidents. FAU-G will have missions and episdoes and not a battle royale mode of a game like PUBG Mobile India.
What is the pre-registration link for FAU-G?
The pre-registration of FAU-G is officially on the Google Play Store. If any other website professes to be having the official FAU-G link, then it is a fake website and opening that could expose your mobile or devices to malware or your data security will be compromised. The official download link will be available on the Google Play Store from January 26.
Will there be lot of blood and gore in FAU-G?
Initially, when the game was launched on Google Play Store, the content rating was players above 16+ should play. However, on Google Play Store currently, the content rating for FAU-G has now changed to Teen, meaning that the bloodshed, gore action and violence might be slightly toned down and this could have a lesser negative impact on children who might want to play the game. Even in the trailer, there is little blood and action. This is unlike PUBG Mobile which has plenty of bloodshed.

Will the graphics of FAU-G match up to PUBG Mobile?
That depends once the official download links are available. However, looking at the trailer, the graphics look a bit dated and do not have the modern look like PUBG Mobile. However, this is a Make in India game and in the past, several Make in India games have dominated the gaming market in India. One hopes that FAU-G can create the void left by PUBG Mobile India’s ban.
