FCC invites comments on USD 3.2 billion Emergency Broadband Benefit Program

The FCC's Wireline Competition Bureau is inviting comments on how best to administer a new USD 3.2 billion Emergency Broadband Benefit Program. The Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021 directed the commission to create the programme, which would pay back participating companies for providing discounted broadband service and connected devices to eligible households during the pandemic.
