We are told that Eros international, the production house of the movie is in talks with an OTT platform for a direct online release and that is the reason for the postponement. The telugu, hindi, and malayalam rights are being asked for 75 Crore. With the satellite rights, the makers will make around 125 Crore. That will result in the table profit for the producers. And so, they are tempted to skip the theatrical release.


The official announcement about the same may be expected in a few weeks. Besides this film, rana has a period film, virataparvam which has completed its shooting part. The movie will release in Summer 2021. However, virataparvam will release only in the theaters. virataparvam shooting is also completed. rana will very soon begin the shooting of his next, the telugu remake of malayalam blockbuster, Ayyappanum Koshiyum.
