Steam has revealed the winners of its yearly Steam Awards. 2020's Game of the Year, as voted by Steam users, is Red Dead Redemption 2. The game, originally out in 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, came to Steam in 2020, making it eligible for the awards.

- Best Game You Suck At: Apex Legends
- Outstanding Visual Style: Ori and the Will of the Wisps
- Best Soundtrack: Doom Eternal
- Sit Back and Relax: The Sims 4
Alongside the Steam Awards, the digital distribution platform is also running the last day of its Winter Sale, with games being available at discounts of up to 90% off. The sale is set to go on until around 11p.m. IST.
