High level committee formed to probe attack on convoy of Chief Minister

Ranchi, Jan 5 (UNI) The state government on Tuesday constituted a high level committee
to probe the attack on the convoy of the Chief Minister.
An official release issued here said in this two member high level committee a senior IAS
and IPS officer has been included. The committee has been directed to submit the report
over the incident as soon as possible.
Further a showcase has been also sought from Ranchi DC and SSP.
On January 4 when the convoy of the Chief Minister was returning from project building,
at Kishoreganj chowk anti social elements as part of planned conspiracy tried to attack the
convoy.
However, the Ranchi Police acted with promptly and diverted the route and took the
Chief Minister safely to his residence. To probe the incident the high level committee has
been formed.
