Godolphin sprinters going head-to-head at the Farm
The ominous production line of Godolphin sprinters is set to nail a one-two punch at Wednesday's feature Warwick Farm meeting.
Bred along very similar lines, four-year-old gelding Deference, a near certainty beaten second-up at this track, and stablemate three-year-old Damaged having his first run as a gelding off two nice trials, go head-to-head in a benchmark 72 handicap over 1100m.

Both are by prolific wet-track sire Exceed And Excel, and out of Lonhro mares - Obsequious (Deference) who was a two-time group winner, and Shatters (Damaged) who was a three-time metro winner from only seven starts.
They look set to dominate the sprint, although this is one of the stronger wet-track reference races across the meeting.
Earlier, another Godolphin three-year-old on the rise is out to go one better third-up in a maiden plate (1200m) for the fillies.
Flexible made a mockery of her big price thundering home to miss by a long head at this track a fortnight back on a soft 7 rating.
And it would seem the wetter the better for this girl, being by group 1 winner Hallowed Crown who remained unbeaten on a heavy surface.
Standing in her way, though, is impressive trial performer Adulting, on debut for the Gerald Ryan and Sterling Alexiou yard at Rosehill off two progressive trials.
A daughter of imported dual group 1 winner Contributer out of a Street Cry mare, Adulting should be right at home in the conditions, along with rival fillies All That Sass second-up with blinkers going on, and Big Angel resuming, who are also bred to handle a wet track.
Certainly, the deluge that has besieged many meetings over the last couple of weeks is slowly receding and the Warwick Farm track could creep up to a heavy 8, or even soft 7.
