Nizamabad live-in partner murder: Accused suspected her fidelity, say cops

Nizamabad: Police exhumed the bodies of the 30-year-old woman and 18-month-old baby, her son on Monday from a hillock where they were buried by the woman’s 24-year-old live-in partner after he hacked them to death.

The accused Cheviti Ramulu killed the duo by hacking them with an axe on December 31 and buried the bodies on a hillock at Ghanpur village of Nizamabad district.

Bodhan DSP N Rama Rao team conducted an inquiry into the incident and exhumed the bodies and conducted post mortem at the spot in the presence of Chandoor Tahasildar Vasantha.

Accused Ramulu confessed to the crime and during the interrogation, he revealed that he was suspecting that Sunkari Sujatha alias Lakshmi, with whom he had been living together for two years, was having an illicit affair with others. Due to this, he decided to kill Lakshmi and their son as well, said police quoting Ramulu.
