Two dead, 25 injured as tourist bus overturns in Mt Abu

Mount Abu, Jan 4 (UNI) At least two persons were killed and 25 others seriously injured on Monday when a private bus, packed with tourists from Gujarat, lost control and veered off from the road before overturning beneath the road.
Police said all the travellers were from Hambhat Taluka in Anand district of Gujarat. They were returning to their village after attending a picnic party at Mount Abu.
Police identified the deceased as Shailesh Patel and Pankaj Bhai, both residents of Finav village in Hambhat Taluka.
The brake of the bus had failed while descending a slope and it overturned in the mountain road in between Hanuman Temple and Veer Baba Mandir area, Police officer Babu Lal Reger said.
