The only hospital in the country and the world's first hospital 'The LifeLine Express train is equipped with all facilities including operation theater. It is currently posted at Badarpur station in Assam. In this, patients are treated free of cost.
According to the Railway Ministry, the train equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and a team of doctors has provided many facilities for patients including two modern operation theaters and five operating tables. The Ministry has also shared some pictures of this train by tweeting.
The Railways transported food grains from one place to another during the Corona epidemic, and also produced Kovid-19 coaches. In the recent past, the railways also managed to operate mobile storage by running the Kisan Express. Along with this, railway engineers also designed much equipment including automatic ticket checking machines, medical assistant robots, PPE kits, mast, sanitizer.
