Man found in the road dies after overnight shooting in Hollywood, police say

What cops believe was a personal dispute that escalated to gunfire left a man dead in Sunday’s first hours, Hollywood police said.

The victim was found in the street with a gunshot wound around 2:30. He was taken from the 100 block of North 24th Avenue to Hollywood Memorial Regional, where he died. Police say the shooter left the scene.
