Construction worker electrocuted on the job in South Jordan

The site was not supposed to have live electricity, a Rocky Mountain Power spokesperson says.

A construction worker with a company contracted by Rocky Mountain Power was electrocuted while working on a site in South Jordan on Monday morning.

Shaun Robertson, 50, was killed at a lot at 3754 W. 11400 South while working on an underground conduit, FOX 13 reported.

Rocky Mountain Power spokesperson David Eskelsen said Monday the site was not supposed to have live electricity, and officials are investigating how Robertson was electrocuted.
