As per the Filmfare, report, a source said, “Some big and popular names had auditioned for this role. Sara Ali Khan had also auditioned for the movie but the makers were quite impressed with Tripti’s work and audition tape. They thought she would bring that freshness to the character and a young appeal.” Well, we can definitely expect some kind of intense and fresh chemistry from this duo in the film. The actor recently spoke about his two big projects Brahmastra and Shamshera and told Rajeev Masand, “Shamshera and Brahmastra are these large-scale, action, big-ticket movies, so there is a preconceived notion." He added, “I’m already onto my next now. Of course, they’re very exciting films. I’ve given a lot to them.” Ranbir Kapoor confirmed his marriage with Alia Bhatt in 2021 and said, “My girlfriend Alia is a bit of an overachiever, and she probably took every class there is -- from guitar to screenwriting. I always feel like an underachiever next to her. But no, I didn’t take any classes. Speaking about his next venture Brahmastra, the film also stars Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia and Nagarjuna Akkineni, with a special cameo by Shah Rukh Khan. Made on a lavish budget, the film is the first part in a trilogy, and we are expecting to see the lead actor, Ranbir Kapoor, with some mind-boggling superpowers. Mouni Roy is playing the lead antagonist in Brahmastra. It will be a treat for her fans to watch the actress in an out-and-out negative avatar. The crackling chemistry between Ranbir and Alia is also expected to be one of the highlights in the film.
