Indian Army along with NDRF, Air Force took over the front in extinguishing the fire of Dajuko valley

The army has also taken a front to extinguish the fire in the forest of Dajuko valley on the Nagaland-Manipur border. Till now NDRF teams and Air Force helicopters were engaged in fire extinguishing. According to the official statement, the Indian Army and Assam Rifles personnel are providing all possible help to the NDRF in extinguishing the fire.

The army is also helping in providing accommodation, tents, and logistics to various agencies involved in relief work. Apart from this, the army has also provided an airbase for the Bambi bucket operation. Also being coordinated with the ground staff.

At the same time, the Air Force is providing help in air traffic control and air space management. Not only this, senior Army officials have met the state administration and held detailed discussions about the ongoing relief work. The fire broke out in the last week of December in the Dajuko Valley.
