CLK hails A Noutuneshwari

Chanura Lamchinglel Kangleipak (CLK) hailed District and Session Judge A Noutuneshwari Devi for giving death penalty to Irom Chaoren of Leishangthem Khongmanung for the rape and murder of his girl friend and unborn child on 18 June, 2010 .
Stating that its the third incident that A Noutuneshwari Devi has awarded death penalty to the accused rapists.
In previous occasions she has given death penalty to R David of Senapati in 2018 and Yumkhaibam Rohit of Khergao Makha Leikai in 2019.The announcement of such verdicts will help majorly in the decrease of heinous crime against women, it added and prayed that incidents of this form do not repeat in future.
