COVID: J&K reports 133 new +ve cases, five deaths

Jammu, Jan 4 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday informed that 133 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (58 from Jammu division and 75 from Kashmir division), have been reported, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 121786.
Also five death has been reported, two from Jammu Division and three from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 419 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 278 from Jammu Division and 141 from Kashmir Division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus, out of 121786 positive cases, 2684 are Active Positive, 117211 have recovered and 1891 have died; 701 in Jammu division and 1190 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 3943822 test results available, 3822036 samples have been tested as negative till January 4.
Till date 904156 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 16963 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 2684 in isolation and 33691 in home surveillance.
Besides, 848927 persons have completed their surveillance period.
