COVID-19 vaccine administration dry run is being conducted, at a health care centre in Chennai on Saturday.
Coronavirus update: India reported 18,177 fresh Covid-19 cases on Friday pushing the overall tally to 10,323,965, according to Worldometer. The death toll from the deadly infection jumped to 149,435.
Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan on Saturday visited two mock vaccination sites in Delhi to review the dry run drill for administering the Covid-19 vaccine. The Health Ministry on Saturday conducted a nationwide mock drill at 285 session sites to test the end-to-end planned operations and the mechanism that has been set up to ensure smooth conduct of the Covid-19 vaccination expected to begin soon.
World coronavirus update: The global tally of coronavirus cases stands at 84,944,864. While 60,082,460 have recovered, 1,842,771 have lost their lives. Meanwhile, the US continues to be the worst-hit country with 20,882,624 cases.
