Chennai: To celebrate the New Year, he went to his friend Ashish’s house in Sriperumbudur. When he was returning to Padapai, Ranjithkumar reportedly lost control of the bike and hit a tree on the roadside near Malaipattu forest area. In the impact, he sustained severe injuries and died on the spot. On information, the Somangalam police visited the spot and retrieved the body which was sent to Sriperumbudur government hospital for post-mortem examination. The Somangalam police have registered a case and further investigation is on.
