Army Western Command now on Twitter, FB

The Army’s Western Command ushered in the new decade with the launch of its official social media accounts today.

The official accounts of the Western Command can be accessed at @westerncomd_IA, Western Command and @westerncomd_indianarmy for Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, respectively. Lieutenant General RP Singh, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Command, posted the inaugural tweets and messages on all three platforms. He laid emphasis on the need for using these platforms “to keep the veterans and civilian population abreast on matters concerning national security”.
