Militant grenade attack in Pulwama, 2 injured

Srinagar, Jan 2 (UNI) Two civilians were reportedly injured when militants hurled a hand grenade towards security forces near a bus stand at Tral in south Kashmir district of Pulwama on Saturday, official sources said.

Militants lobbed a hand grenade towards a security force patrol party near bus stand at Tral in Pulwama. Two civilians were reportedly injured in the blast, they said adding panic gripped in the area after the blast, sound of which was heard in the entire town. People present in the area ran for safety.

Security forces immediately cordoned off the area and launched a massive operation to nab the militants responsible for the attack, they said.
