Railways deny allegations of mistreatment by labourers; DRM Dhanbad issues clarification

The Indian Railways have denied allegations of mistreatment by the labourers who were travelling in Rajdhani Express on Wednesday. The Railways have issued a clarification in this regard.
“Tum Sab Chota Aadmi Ho, Tumhari Aukat Nahi Hai Rajdhani Me Safar Karne Ki” (You are all men of lower status and don’t have the status to travel in Rajdhani train), these were the words of a Train Ticket Examiner (TTE) as alleged by the labourers who were travelling in the train from Koderma to Bhubaneshwar.
The two labourers also accused the TTE of threatening them with Rs 5,000 fine if they argued with him. The men were travelling in New Delhi-Bhubaneshwar Rajdhani Express when the TTE allegedly misbehaved with them.
Earlier, the passengers had given a written complaint against the TTE at Koderma station in Jharkhand, according to a report in Hindi daily Dainik Jagran.
