NEW DELHI: Former Union minister and senior Congress leader Buta Singh (86) passes away.

The leader’s son, Arvinder Singh Lovely Sidhu took to Facebook to tell about his father’s passing.

My heartfelt condolences to his family members in this difficult time, may God give them strength to bear this loss. May his soul rest in peace,” Gehlot wrote on Twitter.
Singh was a outstanding Dalit leader and a Union minister within the Rajiv Gandhi authorities from 1986-1989.
