Gorakhpur, Jan 2 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said the dry run for Covid 19 vaccination was underway in the state and it is possible that vaccination will commence from Makar Sankranti.

" Dry run of Covid vaccination process is underway in Lucknow and it will be held in the entire state on January 5. The vaccination will commence near Makar Sankranti," he said.

Laying the foundation of the multi-storied lawyers Bhawan at the collectorate here on Saturday, Yogi Adityanath said the country with the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to wipe out the deadly Coronavirus from the country.

He also said that UP has done a condemnable job in controlling Covid and even WHO had appreciated the government's efforts." When the number of positive cases was 68,000 just two months back, now there is just 13,000 positive cases inn the state . The recovery rate of 97 per cent was best in the country and we will win the fight against this pandemic," he said.
