Ashok Leyland reports 14% growth in domestic sales in December while stock rises 4%

Including the exports, the total sales were a negative 43% on a cumulative basis.

Ashok Leyland's stock ended 4% higher on BSE as the company reported the figures of its sales for the month of December, 2020.

In the domestic market, the total M&HCV sales on a cumulative bases saw a decline of 61% while including the LCV sales to the number, total sales saw a 44% fall.

Including the exports, the total sales were a negative 43% on a cumulative basis.

However, December 2020 figures were postive with total domestic sales increasing by 14% compared to Dec'19.
