No online classes before solution, warns student body

Imphal, December 31 2020: Joint students' union of JN Manipur Dance Academy (JNMDA), Government Dance College and Government Music College today warned that no classes including virtual/online classes can be convened for colleges under Manipur University of Culture (MUC) .

Meisnam Momocha, general secretary of the joint students' union said they have been protesting the non-acceptance of diploma holder from these three colleges for admission to MA course in various streams under MUC.

Despite their protest, there have been no response from the side of MUC, he said and alleged that they were continuing their admission process and planning to conduct online classes.

He reiterated that no classes can be conducted before an amicable solution to the problem is reached.

He warned that if any teacher was found going against this, the MUC authority and the teacher will be held responsible.
