MOHALI: The Mohali police have registered a case against a stepfather for allegedly raping his 16 year-old-daughter.
The mother of the rape survivor complained against her husband to the cops. “The accused has been arrested. He was produced before a local cour, which sent him in judicial custody. We are investigating the matter,” said a cop.
A case under sections 323, 489-A, 354-A, 354-B, 509, 376 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code and relevant sections of the POCSO Act has been registered at the Nayagaon police station.
