HAU players win medals

Thoubal, December 31 2020: Players of Heirok Athletic Union (HAU) who represented Manipur in the recent "32nd East Zone Athletic Championship 2020" won medals in different categories.

The championship was held on December 28 and 29 last at Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Guwahati.

Khumanthem Anjana @ Manao Chanu, s/o Megha, Heirok Part (II) Bazar and Khumanthem Sunil, s/o Ibomcha, Heirok Part -II Bazar won a silver medal each while RK Dayananda Meitei, s/o RK Ibungo Meitei, Heirok Part-1 Heitupokpi won a bronze medal in their respective categories.

Celebrating the achievement, locals of Heirok felicitated the players on Wednesday.
