CHANDIGARH: Haryana on Thursday reported 271 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, taking the state's Covid-19 tally to 2,62,325 while death toll rose to 2,905 with six more fatalities.
As many as 497 patients also recovered from the infection in this duration. For the first time, the doubling rate of the state has reached 90 days with 2,55,853 recoveries so far.
The state now has 3,567 active cases of which 137 patients are critical.
Two deaths each were reported from Hisar and Panipat while one death each was reported from Jhajjar and Kaithal districts
Gurugram reported 61 new Covid-19 cases while Faridabad added 30 more. Panchkula, Jind and Yamunagar reported 21 cases each followed by Sonepat with 19 cases, Karnal with 16 cases, Hisar with 13 cases and Sirsa and Ambala with 10 cases each.
All the other districts reported less than 10 cases.
