The Central Election Committee of the Congress has been engaged in finalizing the list of close to one thousand voters of the states who will elect the new president. When the elections will be held, the answer is not yet with the Election Committee, just the election process is going on.

Whereas only when Rahul Gandhi returns from abroad, it will be clear who will be the next president of Congress. 99.9 percent of Rahul's supporters claim to hold the position of their president, but the decision of 100 percent depends on Rahul.

Rahul Gandhi will be meeting various party delegations from January 7 on his return from abroad. It is believed that the leaders of the party will offer to accept his post again. It is expected that the Congress Working Committee will elect him as the president if it is agreed. After that, the Congress session will be called and the representatives of the AICC elected from the states will put their stamp on it. This will not have to process the election.

After 15 months on the post of President of Rahul Gandhi and after the Executive President for the last 16 months, whoever is the Chairman will get the remaining term of more than one year. In such a situation, there is also an increased possibility that the party may elect another leader for the time being by conducting elections and prepare Rahul Gandhi for this by next year. While those close to Rahul say that Rahul will prepare Gandhi for the post of President. Also, in the coming months, a session of one or two days in Rajasthan can be called and the party can be stamped on it.

Congress and Shiv Sena dispute over UPA chairman

At the same time, there has been an uproar in Congress and Shiv Sena regarding the UPA chairman. Most opposition parties agree with Shiv Sena's proposal to make Sharad Pawar the UPA president. They expect the UPA's clan to grow from it. At the same time, Congress is seen snatching its authority. A war of words has erupted between Congress and Shiv Sena leaders.

Being the largest party in the UPA, the Congress President is its chairman. UPA President Sonia Gandhi is unwell and if Rahul Gandhi becomes president then most of the constituents of UPA will feel uncomfortable under his leadership.

That is why they feel that not only will the UPA be strengthened by Pawar becoming the UPA president, but other parties like Trinamool Congress, Shiv Sena may also join him. Separating from the BJP, Shiv Sena is also looking for such a platform.
