SAIL net profit declined 191.6% YoY to Rs 4 billion for the quarter ended September 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 4 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 2.3% to Rs 169.2 billion during the period as against Rs 165.4 billion in July-September 2019.
For the year ended March 2020, SAIL reported 7.3% increase in net profit to Rs 27.0 billion compared to net profit of Rs 25.2 billion during FY19.
Revenue of the company grew 7.9% to Rs 617 billion during FY20.
The current Price to earnings ratio of SAIL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 21.4x.>
