CBSE Exams 2021 Dates Announced: Union Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has announced the dates of CBSE board exams 2021 for class 10th and 12th. The Union education minister said that the CBSE Board exam 2021 will begin from May 4 and conclude on June 10.

According to the minister, results are expected to be declared by July 15. He said that practical exams will begin from March 1.

The students have been waiting for the CBSE Board to make a formal announcement for a very long time. Usually, by this time, the dates are generally released by the officials. But due to the coronavirus pandemic, there has been a delay.

There are over for lakh students, who will appear for the CBSE exams next year. The CBSE Board Exams were conducted in a staggered manner this year due to the nationwide lockdown in March. Exams for some subjects were held as late as July. Despite growing concerns over the mutant strain of the coronavirus, Pokhriyal has denied that the CBSE Board exams will be conducted online. According to the latest TV reports, the Education Minister has said that the students will be required to register physical presence in order to appear for the CBSE exams.

In a related development that will affect the students, the CBSE has also decided to introduce some changes in the pattern of question papers. According to a report by The Indian Express, the CBSE 2021 exams will see a bigger number of questions. This will help the teachers to understand the grasp of students’ knowledge. The new pattern of questions will see lengthy case-study types, which will have unique answers. They will be different from the objective types, which have the same answers. This will show how well the students have understood the subject. Standard Covid practices such as mandatory face masks, hand sanitisers will be part of the CBSE examination process.
