Minor boy from PoK held along LoC in Poonch

JAMMU: A minor boy from Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) was held by Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu & Kashmir police in Poonch district on Thursday.
Police sources said, “The boy was apprehended near the Batar nallah in Poonch. It could not be confirmed immediately whether he crossed over inadvertently."
Police sources said investigations are on and his repatriation would be made only after establishing whether he crossed the border inadvertently.
Ramesh Angral, SSP of Poonch, said, "The boy has been identified as Ali Hadier, 10, son of Mohd Sharief, a resident of Mirpur Abbas in PoK."
Earlier on December 7, Poonch district authorities deported two teen girls who had inadvertently crossed over into the Indian territory from PoK in Poonch district.
