    Silver futures drop on subdued demand

    Silver futures dropped by Rs 41 to Rs 68,655 per kg on Thursday as participants reduced their bets on low demand.

    On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery tumbled by Rs 41, or 0.06 per cent, to Rs 68,655 per kg in a business turnover of 14,644 lots.

    However, globally, silver traded 0.33 per cent higher at USD 26.66 per ounce in New York.
