Vivo launches Y20A smartphone with 5,000mAh battery and triple rear camera at Rs 11,490
Smartphone brand Vivo has expanded its Y- series of budget phones in India. The company has launched Vivo Y20A which the company says has been manufactured at Vivo’s Greater Noida facility. The smartphone is an entry-level phone which comes with a price tag of Rs 11,490 and offers 3GB of RAM.

Vivo Y20A: Specifications

Vivo Y20A is equipped with a 6.51-inch Halo iView display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. It is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor which is claimed to unlock the device is 0.26 seconds. The device is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 10watt fast charging technology. Vivo says that the handset can deliver up to 17 hours of online HD movie streaming time and more than 10 hours of intensive gaming.

As far as the camera is concerned, the smartphone boasts of an AI Triple rear camera. The system comprises a 13MP main camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP Bokeh camera lens and a super Macro lens. For selfies, Vivo Y20A sports an 8MP camera at the front.


The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor and runs on the company’s own FunTouch OS11 operating system. Nebula Blue and Dawn White are two colour variants of Vivo Y20A.


Vivo Y20A: Price and availability


Vivo Y20A packs 3GB RAM. The smartphone has an internal storage capacity of 64GB. It is priced at Rs 11,490 and can be purchased from Vivo e-store and major e-commerce websites from January 2. It will also be available at offline retail stores across the country.
