Chandigarh, 30 December,2020: Online Pension Lok Adalat through video conferencing has been conducted today as per F.D. letter dated 29.12.2020.
Approx 180 nos. of persons including various departments and pensioner/family pensioners attended the said Adalat through video conferencing.
Approx 28 nos. of cases have been received in the Lok Adalat which is pending at the level of AG office and in the reply, the representatives of AG office replied that due to COVID-19, the cases have been delayed. Other than this, Supdt. of DHE office has intimated that pension cases of 114 DDO’s are also pending/delayed at the level of AG Office, the representatives of A.G. office further intimated that a special staff is appointed to deal with these pension cases and these cases will be finalized within month or two.
Further two complicated pension cases have been received related to C.P.2 (R) and Printing and Stationary Department, which is to be finalized at the level of A.G. on a priority basis. Treasury Officer has personally taken up the initiative to resolve the matter on a personal level and called them to meet him on 31-12-2020 at 10:30 AM.
