Wangoo Development Committee repairs bailey bridge

Kakching, December 29 2020: The bailey bridge connecting Sugnu Kendra in Kakching district and Kumbi Kendra in Bishnupur district which was in deplorable condition for long, has been repaired today by Wangoo Development Committee, Wangoo under the supervision of MLA K Ranjit.

The bridge which is situated near Wangoo Laipham Chithek Leikai PHC was in poor condition for long with its wooden slabs being worn out.

Speaking on the sidelines of the repairing work by replacing the older wooden slabs, a functionary of Wangoo Development Committee has said that the committee has been extending help in repairing work of the bridge since July this year considering its pitiable condition.

He also drew the attention of the State Government to inspect the condition of the bridge at once and do the needful to repair with iron slabs or whatever better than the earlier.
